Open shop construction is the backbone of Saskatchewan’s construction sector, made up largely of small and medium-sized businesses that build our communities, create jobs, and train the next generation of skilled workers. The open shop model fosters competition, flexibility, and innovation, allowing contractors and workers to succeed based on merit, productivity, and safety.
