Description
This confined space training course is based off of British Columbia’s confined space legislation. This confined space course incorporates many industry best practices and is ultimately designed to exceed industry standards.
The course is a comprehensive study of confined spaces and offers instruction on areas such as (but not limited to):
- Defining and Identifying Confined Spaces
- Understanding Occupational Exposure Limits
- Controlling Atmospheric and Non-Atmospheric Hazards
- Classification, Controls, Signage, and Tags
- Confined Space Monitoring
Upon successful completion of the this training program, you will be knowledgeable and demonstrate proficiency in:

Chapter 2: Hazards
- Atmospheric Hazards
- Understanding Occupational Exposure Limits
- Non-Atmospheric Hazards
Chapter 3: Hazard Control

Chapter 4: Code of Practice

Course Length
This confined space entry and monitor course typically takes 6 hours to complete and generally relates to the learners experience level, prior knowledge and training. The instructor-led presentation includes review exercises, class discussions, video presentations, and written knowledge test.
Training Certificate
Upon successful completion of the training program, you will receive a certificate that is valid for 3 years.
