Coverage may vary from one employer to another. Below are summaries of the options, but you should always check with your employer to determine what plan you are on.
LOG INTO YOUR SCIP ACCOUNT
Hour Bank employees can review their benefit booklet, update their contact information and find their hour bank balance
UPDATE YOUR DEPENDENTS
Ensure your spouse and kids are included in your benefit plan. You can complete a form, call us or log into your SCIP account to designate your dependents
DESIGNATE YOUR BENEFICIARY
Protect your loved ones by ensuring you’ve designated your beneficiary. Fill in the Beneficiary Designation form and either email or mail it to us, or submit electronically via your portal
MAKING A CLAIM
Some health providers, such as your pharmacist or dentist, may direct bill the plan. Others, however, will require that you pay for the service, then submit your claim.
The quickest and easiest way to submit claims is to sign up for your Green Shield online account or download the GSC Everywhere app.
OPTIONAL COVERAGE
As a SCIP Plan member, you can purchase additional Life, Accidental Death and Dismemberment, and Critical Illness insurance at group rates.
