Description
This full-day end-user program will allow you to understand the use of fall protection, as it relates to what you do at height. Various fall protection options exist, this course will identify which options may best meet your needs and give you the tools and knowledge to work at height safely.
The course material is energetically delivered and includes hands-on activities, video analysis, and focuses on student participation. This course meets or exceeds the provincial regulatory requirement and industry standards.
This course will cover:
Hazard identification
Regulatory bodies
Fall safety systems and planning
Shared and personal systems
Anchor points
Body holding devices
Connectors
Descent/Rescue - overview
Equipment care
Hands-on workshop
Fall arrest system evaluation (video analysis)
Important: Photo ID is required to receive a certificate.
Successful participants will receive a certificate good for three years after passing a written and practical assessment.
Delivery Method: Classroom Session
Course Fee Includes: All books and materials, and a certificate upon completion.
Sharing a single registration between two or more individuals is not permitted. Please register each person that will be in attendance.

There are no prerequisites for this course.
Who Should Attend
This course is designed for those that are new to the industry or have little to no previous fall protection training. It could also be beneficial for anyone who has let their certification expire for a long period of time.
