Geared to contractors, skilled sub-trades, and other construction professionals working in the City of Vancouver, this seminar will be presented by Phillip White (Manager, Plumbing and Mechanical Inspections) and Christopher Radziminski (Building Policy Engineer) to address two topics: 

• Electrification, including new requirements, heat pumps for residential and commercial buildings, and mechanical permits (vancouver.ca/mechanical-permit). 

• On-site rainwater management, including requirements effective January 1, 2024, for Part 3 buildings (vancouver.ca/rainwater) and anticipated regulations for multiplexes.
