Judges’ Advice

And now a word from our Judges!

Each nomination is reviewed and scored by our panel of three judges.  Here’s the advice they offer to nominators:

Be very clear about why you nominated this person.  Use specific examples or stories to tell your story and build the nominee’s credibility.

Nick Sackville, Government Relations and Member Engagement Manager for the Saskatoon and Region Home Builders’ Association

Fill out the nomination form completely and don’t leave out information or skip sections.  Have a good look at each question as well as the points attributed to each section, and make sure you are providing enough information.

Jeff Ritter, CEO of the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission

The only way we get to know the person you are nominating is on paper, so don’t hold back and include as much information as possible. Paint us a picture and make us believe your nominee really deserves to win an award.

Yvette Milner, President of Merit Manitoba
