Randy Jalbert – Westridge Construction
Randy Jalbert, a 20-year employee with Westridge Construction in Regina, has become an indispensible part of their field team. Regardless of the size and complexity of the project, Randy is always 100% committed and consistently goes above and beyond the call of duty to ensure the best results.
Randy has been the site supervisor on many projects over the years. He has solved all sorts of issues, big and small, easy and difficult, and always manages to make sure the job gets done on time. A big factor in his ability to manage a job successfully is his exceptional leadership skills. He leads his team by example; he is a hardworking, tenacious problem-solver who is not afraid to go the extra mile to get the job done properly. The pride he takes in his work inspires his crew, creating an environment that is encouraging, challenging, and supportive.
Randy’s safety record is impeccable. In his 20 years with Westridge, Randy has not had one incident. Randy promotes safety on his sites at all times; he has a firm knowledge of safety practices, teaches safety to the employees on site, and promotes safety through his leadership within the company. He’s taken countless training programs over the years to ensure his knowledge and skill level are always up to date.
“Outstanding” doesn’t seem to completely describe the job Randy does, but being awarded the 2017 Outstanding Site Supervisor Award acknowledges that he’s definitely at the top of his profession.
